“ This gorgeous location has seen many, many restaurants come & go over the decades. The large outside dining perimeter is a special touch since most Los Gatos restaurants are lucky to even have sidewalk space for outdoor tables. The old Victorian building is charming, iconic & drips with "high tea" interior decor... perfect for a weekend brunch. The music is lively, the bar area is comfortable with several chic sofas to lounge on. The service is good but slow. The food...it was divine (incredible quality & presentation)! And the coffee menu, well let's just say this coffee snob was fervently impressed! Well done, Gardenia. ”

We were sat immediately, and given the choice indoors (because it was a bit chilly outside) of bar or high top we chose the former. We didn’t really have one waiter, with our order being taken by one of the bartenders, but that was more than okay as everyone was friendly and helpful. I ordered the tofu scramble, fiance the loco moco, and we shared the deviled eggs. Everything was delicious, and if we hadn’t been so full we would have done dessert as just about everything on that menu looked good too! Would for sure be interested in coming again for dinner. ”
